Daily Prompt
Great Expectations
Tell us about one thing (or more) that you promised yourself you’d accomplish by the end of the year. How would you feel once you do? What if you don’t?
I have promised myself I’ll turn 71 before the end of the year.
If I achieve it, I’ll feel a definite sense of triumph – one in the eye for those whose prognostications had me dead at 18, and again at 45.
If I don’t… If I feel anything, I’ll do my best to let you know what it is.

Yikes…
I’m showing no signs of shuffling off. I just enjoy the childish spit-in-the-eye mentality occasionally.
My father said when he reached three score years and ten that anything more was a bonus!
May you achieve many bonus years!!
My kids insist I live to at least 90, so I’ve got a few years to go yet.

Wishing you the best of health, peace and joy, so that you live to the age you wish!
I’ll be happy to live to 90 as long as I’m still compos mentis and independent.
I agree wholeheartedly with that Helen! Have a great weekend 🙂
