Daily prompt: Like I’m supposed to care?

Daily Prompt
The Mirror Crack’d
You wake up one morning to a world without mirrors. How does your life — from your everyday routines to your perception of yourself — change?

Not much. The mirror mirror on the wall told me years ago I wasn’t in the running, so I stopped checking it for miracles. Not that I ever did, really, being a fat child and all. There’s not much room for vanity when any illusions you might have are systematically deconstructed by association with your more glamorous peers.

It’s quite handy to know you’re not venturing forth with spinach in your teeth or a giggle-worthy tuft of hair sticking up like a cockie’s comb, but other than that…
