Write down the first words that comes to mind when we say . . .
. . . home.
. . . soil.
. . . rain.
Use those words in the title of your post.
Can’t say I’m wildly inspired by this prompt. But then I can’t say that’s entirely WP’s fault, either. I’ve got a migraine aura – which means, for the happily uninitiated, that whatever I look at has bits obscured by a conga line of delirious little squiggles partying their way across my vision with all the uninhibited and disrespectful abandon of gatecrashers everywhere.
Usually that’s the sum total of my migraine experience these days, and while it’s annoying, it’s a big improvement on the full migraine catastrophes of my youth. But today, the headache is obviously lurking in the wings as well, which doesn’t really set the stage for profound insights or sparkling visions of raindrops on roses.
But hey! It’s not like the multitudes buzz with tales of my sparkle or gape in awe at the depth of wisdom, so I’ll give it a go, and see what we come up with.
Home -> heart
Soil ->worms
Rain ->rain
Which results in the title you see above.
Well, you did ask…
Another PS for WP – ‘words that comes’ ? Sloppy, guys, sloppy.
Hope your migraine doesn’t last long. Love your little asides to WP.
It will probably hang around until I see the chiropractor – but that’s another story
I hope you are feeling a bit better now? Your posts are delightful. XXXX 😀
A bit better today. Chiropractor tomorrow. That will fix it!
Did it work? xxx 🙂
Yep. All gone, now.
Lovely to “meet” you,Helen. I look forward to reading more of your words. And thanks for the laugh about WP….. I think they could have done better. There must have been a lot of sick leave in the office that day, as this was clearly a last resort prompt!! LOL! I wonder if you can send in your own suggestions????
Lovely to meet you too, Amanda! Yes, I think you can send in your own suggestions. You quite often see a ‘thanks to…for the suggested topic’ at the bottom of the prompt. Can’t think of any, myself!
At least it seems possible to make suggestions, if any of us come up with good ideas.
They are called “silent migraines” and you are right, they beat out the full-blown migraines of our youth. But I know those floating, darting, squiggle very well. Maybe they are related to yours?
Sure to be. They probably breed like rabbits. Or maybe it’s just one global conga line on a never-ending party. Just wish they’d flake from exhaustion!
