Guns don’t kill, people kill.
So maybe for the sake of their reputation, guns should stop consorting with people.

Helen, after many years in law enforcement, now retired. I nearly never comment on issues like guns or such. During my career, I have never interviewed the weapon, because they cannot shoot, stab, or beat someone, without human interaction.
People kill, not weapons! 🙂
Exactly! And yet they keep on trotting out the argument, and no one points out what nonsense it is!
