About me
I'm a freelance writer - fiction, nonfiction and anything else that happens to tango its way through my mind. That's for me, and I've won a competition or two, and been published in a range of media. To keep the wolf from the door, I also edit, proofread and write for other people. Love it all. Aren't I lucky?

Daily prompt: It’s all a balancing act
DAILY PROMPT Unfinished I am unfinished, due to not being dead yet. Does that count? Neither am I planning on being finished anytime soon, having years’and years’ worth of unfinished business to deal with before I can possibly shuffle off … Continue reading
Daily prompt: Not the journey
Daily Prompt Tourist Trap What’s your dream tourist destination — either a place you’ve been and loved, or a place you’d love to visit? What about it speaks to you? Tourist destination? Tourist trap? Both speak to me of tatty … Continue reading
Daily post: Where in the world
I wish you’d stop doing this – asking me to sociable. Not going to happen. No public speaking, no non-family parties, and certainly no living with strangers. No. No. No. I’d travel the world at the drop of a hat … Continue reading
Daily post: Bending time with a flick of the mind
In my days as a hypnotherapist (well I did mention I’d had a chequered career) I used time distortion quite a lot. On myself rather than my clients, who were more interested in ego distortion and mind-bending angst than in … Continue reading
